Imbued with the aesthetics of Brutalism, processes of construction, life under restraint, and the sonorous releases of nature, audiovisual artist Andrej Hrončo explores internal spaces in externally created worlds of sound and light. His ongoing work consists of examinations of generative algorithms, stochastic processes, lighting interaction, sonification of imaginary landscapes, and pattern recognition rooted in the concept of modulating perception through context.
Hrončo has written on various aspects of the Web MIDI and Web Audio APIs while working at Keith McMillen Instruments.
